At During, we are committed to delivering reliable, high-quality commercial equipment. The following outlines our warranty coverage and conditions.
Warranty Coverage
Two-Year Parts and Labor Warranty (All Equipment)
During provides a two-year warranty from the date of invoice covering:
- Replacement or repair of components determined to be defective under normal and proper use
- Standard straight-time labor costs and reasonable travel time, as outlined in During's warranty procedures
- Equipment that has been installed, operated, and maintained according to During’s specifications and the product manual
Six-Year Compressor Warranty (Refrigeration Equipment Only)
In addition to the two-year parts and labor warranty, refrigeration units include an extended four-year warranty (years 3 through 6) covering the compressor only.
- Applies solely to the compressor and covers defects in material or workmanship under normal usage
- Labor and additional parts—such as refrigerant, motors, electrical components, and controls—are not included in this extended coverage
How to Submit a Warranty Claim
Warranty claims may be submitted through the Warranty Request Form or via email. To ensure timely processing, please include the following:
- Model number of the equipment
- Serial number
- Proof of purchase
- Date of installation
- Description of the issue and supporting documentation (e.g., photos, service reports)
Incomplete submissions may delay claim resolution.
Exclusions from Warranty Coverage
1. Consequential or Incidental Damages
- Losses related to business interruption, product spoilage, or lost profits
- Indirect or consequential damages arising from equipment failure
2. Normal Wear and Tear
- Lamps, gaskets, casters, shelves, shelf clips, pans, pan dividers, and airflow guards
3. Non-Commercial or Mobile Use
- Equipment installed in residential settings, food trucks, mobile units, or other non-commercial environments
4. Warranty Transferability
- Applies only to the original purchaser or lessee
- The warranty is non-transferable. Any change in ownership voids all coverage
5. Improper Use or Installation
- Failure resulting from incorrect installation, improper usage, or lack of maintenance
- Neglecting to clean the condenser coil or follow maintenance guidelines as outlined in the product manual
6. Damage Due to External Causes
- Alteration, abuse, misuse, neglect, accidents, shipping damage, installation damage, fire, flood, or acts of God
7. Electrical Supply Issues
- Damage resulting from improper voltage, unstable power supply, or use of extension cords
8. Implied Warranties
- No other warranties—express, implied, or statutory—apply beyond those described herein
- Includes any implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
9. Use Outside the United States
- Warranty coverage is limited to products sold and used within the continental United States
- Products used outside of the U.S. or in non-contiguous states are not covered
